The prototype is a 2D, action rogue-like, dungeon crawler game inspired by similar games such as; ‘Enter the Gungeon’ and ‘The Binding of Isaac’. The player has to combat their way through dungeon rooms against the enemies and hazards that await them there, progressing until they defeated the boss at the end of the dungeon, or have died. If the player dies, they have to start at the beginning with all of the rooms reset. The game used market analysis, user testing, and integrated data collection to improve game quality over a series of builds.
